Full Service and Court Representation
In the majority of cases, most issues – whether connected to the children or the financial consequences arising from the breakdown of a relationship – can be dealt with by way of negotiation and agreement.
If, however, agreement is not possible, the Court can provide clear and binding decisions often setting clear timetables to prevent delay or provide emergency or enforcement remedies where the need arises.
Sometimes court proceedings are entirely necessary to enable one party to secure a fair outcome.
Here at Major Family Law, we will explore all possible avenues with you and will only advise you to resort to Court proceedings if we believe it is in your best interests to take that route. If that is the case, we will support you from start to finish; from preparing the necessary paperwork to issue proceedings, right through all Court appointments and representing you at the final hearing. We will discuss this route with you fully from the outset and keep you up to date with the anticipated work involved and costs you are likely to incur so that you may make informed decisions at each stage of the process.
