Sam qualified as a solicitor in March 2015 having trained with a firm at their Bristol and London offices. He practised family law in London upon qualification and has recently relocated to the North East.
Sam undertakes all areas of family law including divorce, financial relief, protection from domestic abuse and children law matters.
He has a particular interest in children law matters, advising and representing parents and other extended family members in disputes regarding where a child lives and whom they spend time with. Sam has experience of advising clients on child abduction where a parent has or attempts to remove a child outside the jurisdiction. He also has experience of advising parents and other extended family members where social services are concerned about a child’s welfare.
Sam conducts his own advocacy at court wherever possible, which allows him to provide consistent and specialist representation to clients throughout their case. Sam’s willingness and ability to conduct his own advocacy provides his clients with the opportunity to be represented at court by someone they know and trust.
